Hello all! I hope you've had a brilliant start to the month - I certainly have! June was kickstarted by an amazing TBR TAKEDOWN hosted by the lovely @leaninglights on Twitter. This is my first TBR Takedown so I'm blogging about my experience - hopefully you find it useful!
The Challenges:
From June 1 to June- A book that's been on your TBR for over a year [Not Doing]
- An unread sequel on your shelf [Not doing]
- The first book of a series
- An out of your comfort zone book
- A book from your most recent book haul
My TBR:
- The Maze Runner by James Dashe
- Playlist for the Dead by Michelle Falkoff
- Severed Heads, Broken Hearts by Robyn Schneider
- Tremor by Ryan Mark

I've chosen to not do two of the challenges as I haven't had a proper TBR for a year, and I don't have any sequels to read. Instead, I've chosen to read another book - Tremor by Mark Ryan which I will be reviewing soon! I chose 4 books instead of 5 as I have school 5 out of 7 days this week plus assignments and piano lessons and a CONCERT - giving me not much extra time each day to read!
Despite this, I'll still be attempting this takedown - even if I don't get to the goal I've set myself! Following this will be a day by day record of how much I've read and records of how I'm feeling.
Monday 1st June - Some reading done
Tuesday 2nd June - Finished 'The Maze Runner'
Wednesday 3rd June - Loads of reading! Finished 'Playlist for the Dead'
Thursday 4th June - Again, lots of booktime. Finished 'Severed Heads, Broken Hearts'
Friday 5th June - No reading done - due to MY 1D CONCERT!!!!!!!!
Saturday 6th June - Started reading Tremor by Ryan Mark in the evening
Sunday 7th June - Roughly managed to get 3/4 of the way through.
This is my week summary! Despite two water fights, a pool party, a ONE DIRECTION CONCERT , a geography test, an English test and Maths exam preperation, I've done a load of reading. I'm really happy with the outcome of this! This week has been hectic but I've loved it!
If you are taking part in a TBR Takedown, here are my tips:
1. A day off won't hurt anyone!
2. Don't let it ruin your social life!
3. You are doing this yourself; it's not a competition.
4. Don't rush through books so quickly you don't understand them.
5. Have fun!!
Again, a massive thanks to @leaninglights on Twitter and Instagram for hosting this TBRTakedown, I loved it and beg for you to host another one in a month or two!
All the love
N / UntoldNovels x
P.S. Would you like a post about the concert?? I have tons of photos! Comment yes or no to the concert idea!
P.P.S. Sorry about all the hype from the concert. I'm in love. They're amazing.
